Women's Clinic
 
Waverly Health Center’s Women’s Clinic provides obstetric, gynecology and urogynecology services for women from adolescence through menopause. These services include the following:
  • Well-woman care
  • Normal and high-risk pregnancy services
  • Preconceptual counseling
  • Amniocentesis
  • Infertility treatment
  • Gynecologic surgery including endometrial ablation, hysterectomy, pelvic floor reconstruction for incontinence and other pelvic disorders, laparoscopic procedures, endometrial ablation, C-sections, and rectocele and cystocele repairs.

    Office Hours:
    Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30 p.m.

    Location:
    The Women's Clinic is located on the 2nd floor of the Centennial Pavilion. Patients should park in the Orange parking lot and enter through the Orange entrance.

    Our Women's Clinic Medical Staff:
    Suzanne Bartlett, M.D.
    Dr. Bartlett is a member of the Waverly Health Center Active Medical Staff, specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Bartlett received her B.A. degree from the University of Northern Iowa and her M.D. degree from the University of Iowa.
      
    Shannon Lau, M.D.
    Dr. Lau is a member of the Waverly Health Center Active Medical Staff, specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Lau received her B.A. degree from Wartburg College and her M.D. degree from the University of Iowa.
     
    M. Michele Martins, M.D.
    Dr. Martins is a member of the Waverly Health Center Active Medical Staff, specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received her undergraduate degree from Miami University and her medical degree from Medical University of Ohio at Toledo.
      

    Danielle Bakewell, ARNP
    Danielle Bakewell, ARNP is a member of the Waverly Health Center’s Active Medical Staff specializing in women’s health. Danielle received her undergraduate degree from Upper Iowa University in Fayette, Iowa and her Master’s in Nursing from Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa.
      
    Terrie Thurm, ARNP
    Ms. Thurm is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner member of the Waverly Health Center Active Medical Staff. Ms. Thurm received her B.A. degree in Health Administration from Ottawa University, her M.S. degree in Health Administration from Cardinal Stritch University, and her Women's Healthcare Nurse Practitioner certification from the University of Colorad - Denver.
